Life between Go Go Diego and Nirvana

I have really been getting into work out videos lately. Yes, I am still trying to lose the baby weight. It's not easy. Kolt actually enjoys the work out videos, he laughs at me and dances to the music! Let me tell you, it's pretty funny.

I decided that yoga would be great. I also had the bright idea that Kolt would enjoy doing it with me. I got dressed, pulled out my mat and popped in the video. Sounds relaxing, right?

As soon as I closed my eyes and started to center myself Kolt was in my lap honking my nose. (He looks at you real sweet, pulls your nose real hard and screams "HONK HONK"!) As I moved on to the "Standing forward Bend" I see out of the corner of my eye Kolt running full speed ahead to push me over!

Focus, focus, focus. Yeah right. The Dalai Lama himself couldn’t focus in this room.

So much for trying out meditation!

Meet Brayden

This little guy did a great job! It was cold and extremely windy during his shoot. It didn't bother little B a bit! The first 10 minutes he couldn't figure me out! He was probably wondering... "Who is this crazy lady following me around with a camera!?" He was on the go, running, giggling and was very busy playing with his trucks! Thanks Brayden for being so cute!

Here are a few pictures from our mini-shoot.

Monkey Bread Recipe

Warning!
This is incredibly bad for you... but so good that you will not care!

1/2 cup sugar
about 4 teaspoons cinnamon
4 cans biscuits
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 12-cup fluted tube pan.

In large plastic bag, mix sugar and 1-2 teaspoon cinnamon. Cut each roll into fourths. (I used a pizza cutter.) Shake in bag to coat. Arrange in pan, adding walnuts and raisins among the biscuit pieces.

Mix brown sugar, 1-2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and butter. Pour over cinnamon roll pieces.

Bake about 30 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in center. Cool in pan about 10 minutes. Turn upside down onto serving plate.
