A rainy day photo-shoot

I had a fun time today with a wonderful family. It was cold, windy and rainy and they were great sports! (I don't think you can even tell how cold, windy and rainy it was!) Thanks guys! You made my job very easy. I couldn't have asked for better models. You guys rocked it!

Here are a few pictures from this morning. I will post more soon!

Mommy Money

Okay Stay at Home Mommys... this is for you!

The work of a Stay at Home Mom now equates to an annual income of $122,732.

This is based on a survey of over 12,000 mothers on salary.com. They also based this number on how much it would cost to outsource 10 typical job functions of a mother: housekeeper, day care center teacher, cook, computer operator, facilities manager, driver, psychologist, laundry machine operator, janitor and chief executive officer.

On this website you can print out a "paycheck". But... who the hec wants a piece of paper with NO value!!! (Of course if this was a real one I would take it!)

BUT.... Kolt's smile is worth more then a silly check any day!!!

My baby boy has turned into a toddler

My baby boy is growing up... and it is happening to fast! The one thing that makes me catch a glimmer of his retained babyhood is hearing older kids refer to him as a "baby". Where has the time gone and can it PLEASE slow down a little bit!!??! I am very blessed that I get to watch and enjoy his development firsthand. Here is a little update:

Kolton's favorite things:
footballs
basketballs
baseballs
dancing (he has some great moves!)
Marlee's toys
helping daddy water the yard
animals
digging in the sand box
his tool set
the neighbor girls
helping Mommy cook (aka beating loudly on pots and pans!)
candy
laughing and being silly
jumping on Mommy and Daddy's bed
chasing Marlee
getting dirty

Words Kolton can say at 14 months:
Mama
DaDa
Night Night
Doggy (EVERYTHING is a Doggy right now!)
Kitty
Uh Oh!
NO!! (usually is screamed while throwing a temper tantrum!)
...and lots of jiberish!

Paparazzi

...or MOMARAZZI!?

As usual, Kolton played in the back yard and I took pictures! I have become his personal paparazzi! I can't help it, he is growing up way to fast and I want to document all the important moments. (He will thank me one day!!)
