Shark Fights 5

Our weekend did not go as planned.... but we still had lots of FUN!! We packed up and headed to Amarillo. Kolt spent the night with Memaw and Pepaw so that Brandon and I could go to Shark Fights 5, Outdoor Bash and Brawl. What's more fun then an outdoor venue with BBQ, beer, bands and 9 pro MMA cage fights!!??

This was the last photo before the massive amounts of RAIN and the event had to be canceled!!! BOOO! Shark Fights 5 is rescheduling and we can't wait to go!

We still had a great night. We had a yummy dinner and a few drinks at BWW! We tried to sleep in, but were up at 7:00. Darn internal alarm clock!!

The next day we went to pick Kolt up from Memaw and Pepaw's. We missed him so much, but I don't think he was ready to come home! We had lunch a played at the park before we made the drive back home. I am not sure who had more fun, Brandon or Kolton!

Yuck, it is already Monday!!!

Chug Chug Chug....!!!

While I was making Kolt's lunch today he managed to sneak the maple syrup out of the fridge! When I turned around to tell him lunch was ready I couldn't help but crack up at the sight! It reminded me of a scene in the movie Super Troopers! The first thought that popped in my head was the quote, "I am ALL that is man!!" (If you havn't seen the movie it is funny!) Check out my little syrup chugger! I am so proud!

*Just to set the record straight.... I don't normally allow my one year old to chug maple syrup!

And.... I had to include a couple pics from the movie!!!

The stork is on the way

I had a fun maternity shoot on Saturday. The couple was great! They have been married for 8 years and are expecting there first little one! They will be having a little girl in August. I loved the way the husband was so involved! (She said he has been involved in EVERY aspect of the pregnancy!) The little girl's room will be decorated in Hello Kitty. They will be great parents!

They are really scared about the child birth process, I hope our talk helped! I was scared too! It feels like you are heading to the great unknown and you have NO control. I think the key to child birth is to trust God and trust your body! I brought a page of bible verses and my favorite sonogram picture, that helped me to keep my mind on the miracle that was about to happen! It is a beautiful process and I think once you give birth you can do ANYTHING!!

Also, the epidural helped!!!

Here are a few verses and quotes that helped me:

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go throw yourself into the sea', and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have recieved it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:22-24

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Phillipians 4:13

I sing for joy at the works of Your hands. Psalm 92:4

Thank you Lord, for the privilege of having a new life within,
Thank you Lord, for Your son, who came to forgive our sins.
Bless this child I have inside, And give me Your will, as my guide.
Give me Your wisdom, for this child I will raise,
That he or she will give You, honor and praise.
No matter what road this child may take,
Let he or she love You, never to forsake.
To you Lord our glory and praises we sing,
For you Lord are the Savior of all things.
Amen

Daddy Day

To my Dad: I hope you had a great Father's Day... I wish I could have been there. You are an amazing person and dad. I appreciate how you are always here for me any time I need you!! I love you!

To my Love: Thank you Brandon for being YOU! You mean the world to us! We love you more then words could ever express. Happy Father's Day.... you deserve it!! XoXo

Here is a little bit of our day:
Kolton was a busy little boy on Father's Day. He made Daddy's favorite... Rice Krispie Treats (YUM!!) He also wrapped Daddy's gift!

He patiently waited for his Daddy to get home so that they could open presents!

We also went to "Critter Fest" at the Science Spectrum. We saw, elephants, camels, goats, cows, snakes, tigers and lots of other animals. Also, Kolt rode his first pony! (I don't think he liked it!!)

Also, Kolton and I surprised Brandon with pictures of Kolt with his old boots and cowboy hat! Here are a few of the pictures:

Our Weekend Review

Some how it is already Sunday. I am working on figuring out how that happened so fast!! So, for fun I have assembled "Our Weekend Review".

We had a full weekend. But Kolton always keeps us on our toes, so that's not exactly breaking news!

What is breaking news you ask?!

Friday, I got a massage! For Mother's Day Brandon got me a gift card for a hour and a half massage and I got to cash it in! It was amazing and I think I need one once a month! HA! Also, Brandon and I enjoyed 3 wonderful kid free hours out! We love our Date Nights! I think Kolt enjoyed it to because he had the full attention of three great girls! Later that night the neighborhood girls left the cutest messages on our sidewalk!

My parents came to Lubbock for a very productive Saturday! My mom and I were successful in finding the most amazing wedding dress ever! It is nothing short of spectacular! We also hand made wedding invites! They are beautiful, unique and took 9 hours, so I hope everyone thinks they are the best invites they have ever received! HA!

Brandon, Kolton and my dad worked extremely hard on projects around the house. I know Brandon appreciated the help! Thanks Dad!

Now it is Sunday and also Flag Day. Our flag is representative of our independence and our unity as a nation. As Americans, we have every right to be proud of our culture, our nation, and our flag. So raise the flag today and every day with pride! Happy Flag Day!!

We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!
