The stork is on the way

I had a fun maternity shoot on Saturday. The couple was great! They have been married for 8 years and are expecting there first little one! They will be having a little girl in August. I loved the way the husband was so involved! (She said he has been involved in EVERY aspect of the pregnancy!) The little girl's room will be decorated in Hello Kitty. They will be great parents!

They are really scared about the child birth process, I hope our talk helped! I was scared too! It feels like you are heading to the great unknown and you have NO control. I think the key to child birth is to trust God and trust your body! I brought a page of bible verses and my favorite sonogram picture, that helped me to keep my mind on the miracle that was about to happen! It is a beautiful process and I think once you give birth you can do ANYTHING!!

Also, the epidural helped!!!

I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go throw yourself into the sea', and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have recieved it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:22-24
