Beware... This is a long Christmas post!!

I warned you... this is a long post with lots of pictures!!

We spent our Christmas in the mountains of Ruidoso! It was beautiful this time of year. I know that Kolton had a wonderful time. I could see it in his face! I love the joy and magic that Kolt brings to the Christmas season. I love that his sweet little face has brought a new understanding to me of the story of Christ's birth. I am more amazed, more joyful and more grateful than ever before when I think about the birth of Jesus. I have said it 1,000 times, but I will say it again... We are blessed!

Check out our amazing cabin! It was beautiful!

We got up close and personal with the animals.

We played and played and played in the snow...

We ate yummy food, played silly games and opened presents.

And to top off the trip... we locked our kiddo in the truck!! Yes, I still can't believe that we did that!! We were quickly loading up the truck and telling everyone bye when we realized that the doors were locked!! We all freaked out! My dad and Brandon quickly got to work on the windows with hangers, I made faces and kept Kolt entertained and my mom called locksmiths and the police. About 30 minutes later, Kolt stood up, crawled over to the window and rolled it down!! We were so excited! But... we sure did feel dumb!!!

Here's the look on his face after he "saved the day!!"

You will have JOY and GLADNESS and many will REJOICE at His birth.

Peek-A-Boo!

We had a wonderful Christmas! It might even be one of my favorites! I have lots of pictures and stories to share. One might even involve a surprise we found in the freezer!

Can you guess where we spent Christmas?

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas!

Baylor

It's little Baylor! Isn't he sweet? Baylor's Daddy called me and asked me to take pictures of Baylor. He was having pictures made to surprise his wife! Very very sweet idea! Then two days later Baylor's Mommy called me and asked me to take pictures of Baylor. She was having pictures made as a surprise to her husband! Isn't that too cute!? What a great family!

Here are a few from our mini shoots:
