Playing a little catch-up

We have had a busy weekend.

Saturday I had a great morning shoot with a beautiful senior named Destany. She was sick and had a fever. She was a total trooper! We had a great time! Isn't she gorgeous? I have so many pictres to post, here is a little sneak peek!

Brandon and I had a babysitter Saturday night!! We attended Boo Bash which is a wonderful charity event that raises money for MDA. The event was raising money for kiddos with muscular dystrophy and other related diseases to attend summer camp. The camp has a large variety of events designed and structured for each kiddo! It was neat to hear about the camp. If you are interested in learning more or donating money, here is the website. www.mda.org

And... this is what we came home with! The car was in the silent auction. As soon as we saw it, we knew we had to have it for Kolt!! (I think we checked the silent auction every 5 minutes to make sure we didn't get out-bid!!!)

Sunday, we had a great time at Miss Alexa's 3rd birthday party! Alexa looked adorable in her pink shirt and light up cowboy boots!! We ate hot dogs, lots of cheetos and cupcakes. There was also a sweet little pony there that all the kiddos got to pet and feed.

When Monday rolled around Kolt had to go to the Dr. for a shot and a well check up:

He is 28 lbs and in the 78 percentile on height. He is my big boy!! I am not sure what I am going to do when he is bigger then me!
His gross and fine motor skills are above average. The Dr. would ask me if he could jump up and down and we would glance over at him and he would be jumping up and down! She would ask me if he knew body parts such as his nose and when we glanced over at him he would be pointing to his nose!! The entire visit continued this way! He is such a show off!! The pediatrician was also very impressed with his large vocabulary! Ahhh.... I am one PROUD Mama!!!

I can't help but feel that he is growing up to fast!!! Where have the past 18 months gone? I beam with pride when Kolt learns something new or conquers a new milestone! I am the happiest when I watch his eyes light up, see his sweet smile or hear the music of his laughter. I am very sad that he won't be my little baby forever. But, I know that deep down he will ALWAYS be my little baby. He will be my little baby when he goes to school, when he is on the football field, when he goes off to college, when he gets married and even when he has a baby of his own. He must grow up and I know he will. But, I will enjoy the journey and cherish every moment with him. I will leave no kiss un-kissed and no hug un-hugged!! I promise...

Have a great week everyone!
